The Parent Trap Two:
Below is an excerpt from the never before seen sequel to the 1998 Parent Trap. The film starred actresses Lindsay Lohan and Natasha Richardson as well as the actor Dennis Quaid. The sequel, The Parent Trap Two, was planned to be released this fall and continue to star the actors.

OPENING SCREEN: PARENT TRAP TWO FALLS ACROSS CENTER OF SCREEN.
ROLL BEGINNING CREDITS.
EXT. CALIFORNIA VINEYARD - DAY
AN AERIAL SHOT OF VINEYARD.
The vineyard is large and luscious, its green vines contrasting against the somber khaki of the Sonoma valley. Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E” plays throughout the shot.
A STEADY SHOT FROM GROUND LEVEL OF WORKERS TENDING THE FIELD.
BIRDS CHIRP IN THE SKY.
A RISING SHOT SETTLING ON A LARGE CALIFORNIA HOUSE.
TEXT APPEARS ACROSS SCREEN, IT READS: “Five Years Later.”
“L-O-V-E” DROWNS OUT AND VOICES CAN BE HEARD ARGUING OFF SCREEN
VOICE 1 (O.S)
(a female voice)
I don’t know what you’re talking about you’re insane.
VOICE 2 (O.S)
(a male voice)
I’m insane?! You’re the one that told them to come over?!
CUT TO: INT. BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS
HALLIE PARKER, 16, sits on her bed, staring at an iphone. Across from her is her sister, ANNIE JAMES, 16, also on her own separate bed, also staring at an iphone. They are SILENT. The VOICES can still be HEARD.
VOICE 1 (O.S)
Well you should have stopped me!
VOICE 2 (O.S)
Oh! Like I’m supposed to read your mind?! How am I supposed to know what you want Elizabeth?!
VOICE 1 (O.S)
Isn’t that what marriage is Nick?! Being each other’s better halves?! Until death do we part?! For better or for worse?!
VOICE 2 (O.S)
I didn’t think marriage would mean taking care of someone who needs to be in a psychiatric ward!
We hear a VASE shatter.
VOICE 2 CONT’D (O.S)
That was my mother's!
Hallie looks over at Annie.
HALLIE
Annie, mom and dad are fighting again.
Annie stays SILENT for a few seconds.
ANNIE
You know I was talking to Melissa from school and I told her about our whole situation and she said it wasn’t normal for us to be separated from birth.
ANOTHER VASE is heard smashed OFF SCREEN.
HALLIE
Screw her.
ANNIE
That’s how I felt. Reuniting our parents was the best thing we could have done.
Another SMASH is heard.
HALLIE
Agreed.
A KNOCK IS HEARD AT THEIR DOOR. They both look over. In walks NICK and ELIZABETH, the two’s mother and father.
NICK
Annie, Hallie, we having something to announce.
Annie and Hallie look at their parents.
ELIZABETH
Your father and I are getting a divorce.
A few seconds of silence.
HALLIE
What the fuck! How could you?! That’s unbelievable! Divorce?!
NICK
I mean your mother and I made it work for another five years but you couldn’t expect us to last when you brought us back together. We got divorced for a reason.
ANNIE
Quoi?! Pourquoi?! Merde! Vous êtes imbeciles!
Hallie and Annie continue to RANT - Annie RANTING in FRENCH.
NICK
Ah shit. How did we let this happen.
ELIZABETH
This time can I take Hallie?
NICK
Yeah that’s cool.
