Before we knew it, summer rolled around to a close once more, so here’s everything you’ll need to make this next year the best most tolerable one yet.

  1. A paper and pencil to doodle with while your US history teacher drones on about mercantilism. The options are endless so take your pick: choose from drawing random shapes that blend together in weird amalgamations of graphite or printing caricatures of George Washington being chased by a hammerhead shark in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (after all, you’ll have to find a way to make some of the course material stick).

  2. A binder (a big one) to prop up on your desk while you lay your head down to catch some must needed Z’s. Get one of the thick blue types with a two inch metal ring for optimal noise suppression and (optional) bring some ear plugs for the friend beside you if you’re particularly prone to snoring.

  3. Clash Royale. Should be straight forward enough.

  4. A spare change of clothes for when you bend over to pick up a pencil and then the butt-end seams of your pants decide that it is the perfect time to undo themselves in the loudest RIPPPP you’ve ever heard in your life. Wonderful. Awkwardly palm your butt cheeks and run to your locker as you wish you had skipped out on the extra slice of cheesecake last night. And yes, this has happened to me.
