Five Reasons You Need to Start Wearing Socks Daily

I’ve found that people look at me weird when they find out that I wear socks every time of the day — whether I’m at home or on the rare occasion I venture out of the house. To prove my quirkiness and to prove why exactly wearing socks is a superior move, I present five reasons:

  1. They keep your feet from getting dirty: Okay, this one is an obvious point, but if you don’t wear slippers at home, you should be wearing socks. Who knows when the last time you decided to vacuum was? (I know. It wasn’t any time recently). Also, if you tend to eat late-night snacks, the crumbs tend to get on your sheet(s). But NOT on your feet!

  1. Taking your socks off after a long day: This is definitely akin to taking your bra off after a long day. It’s the most underrated feeling ever. You should wear socks only to experience this.

  1. You get to prove your uniqueness: At times, you get to write articles like these to prove your uniqueness. Another plus point is wearing cute socks to show-off your personality!

Scientific fact (that you don’t need to look up because I am telling you it’s true): Cute socks improve your self-esteem by 100%.

  1. They keep you cosy: Is this even debatable? Warm and fuzzy socks are a winter essential! And ankle socks are perfect for the summer.

  1. Apparently, they also increase the chance of orgasms. Take from that what you will, but I think it’s a definite plus. Y’all, take note. If you’re facing certain *ahem* problems, maybe it’s because you aren’t wearing socks?

In conclusion: wear socks. It’s good for you.
