FORGET SNOW, HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR HOPES FOR LOCK DOWN SCARE TO DELAY AP TEST

By Ariel Monson:

SPRINGFIELD - Melissa Brown, a junior at SunnyVale High School in Springfield, dreams of a terrorism scare to help her grades. “It’s not like I’m rooting for a live shooter, I just need some more time to study. The freshman need practice hiding anyway,” said Brown. “The kid is right, a lot less stressful to sit on my bus while the police come flying in, than to have to deal with snow at five am,” added longtime bus driver at SunnyVale High, who along with other school staff, agreed with Brown. “You have to understand the pressure on these kids, there hasn’t been a real snow storm all winter,” noted Assistant Principal, John Johnson. The local police chief was unavailable for comment, as he was responding to a bomb threat at Springfield Elementary. *
