High school cover band, Gnarls, decided to change things up and stop covering their favorite bands such as The Beatles, Weezer, and Metallica, and start covering the other high school cover bands in their area. “Well we just really love how the other cover bands are doing their renditions of great songs like ‘Say It Ain’t So’ and ‘Come as You Are’ that we decided to just cover them.” reported band leader Chase Nixby. “I mean it can get a little confusing when people say that they loved our version of ‘Free Bird’ and we have to explain its actually our version of Matt and Dylan’s band The Thumbsticks versions of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s version of ‘Free Bird.’ So that can be rough.” Chase later reported that he doesn’t think that his band has really made it until another high school band decides to cover them.
